We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of culinary techniques, food handling, and kitchen management. The Sous Chef will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work environment while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties:

• Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety practices are followed at all times.
• Prepare and present high-quality dishes for both regular menu items and special events such as banquets and catering services.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service during events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques.
• Experience in banquet preparation and catering services is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing kitchen staff.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
