Labonno Fine Dine & Party Hall, an upscale venue offering exquisite Indian and Pakistani cuisine, is seeking a skilled Tandoori & Kebab Chef to join our culinary team. This individual will play a key role in preparing authentic tandoori dishes and kebabs, ensuring the highest quality and flavor for our diverse clientele. We are looking for a dedicated professional with at least 3 years of experience in tandoori cooking, grilling, and preparing traditional Indian/Pakistani dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook tandoori dishes, including naan, kebabs, and other grilled specialties, using traditional methods and techniques.
• Ensure authenticity in the preparation of dishes, maintaining consistent quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Oversee the operation of the tandoor (traditional clay oven) and manage grilling stations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, particularly around the tandoor and grilling equipment.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely service.
• Assist in menu planning and development of new tandoori or grilled dishes.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet the restaurant's high standards.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations in food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
• Ensure proper inventory management of ingredients required for tandoori and grilling dishes.
• Train junior kitchen staff in tandoori cooking techniques and food safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tandoori & Kebab Chef in an Indian or Pakistani kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of traditional tandoori cooking methods, spice blends, and grilling techniques.
• Experience working with traditional tandoor ovens and other grilling equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
