Responsibilities:

• Producing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other key financial reports
• Substantiating transactions through auditing and supporting documentation
• Maintaining financial controls by helping establish accounting policies and procedures
• Posting and reconciling journal entries and verifying financial accuracy
• Presenting clean, error-free accounting reports and interpreting key takeaways
• Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Supporting the team in hitting annual departmental goals
• Assisting in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• 2-5+ years of professional accounting experience (public accounting strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and awareness of business trends.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with multi-currency, multi-subsidiary accounting systems.
• NetSuite ERP & Coupa experience.
