Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting system for small business clients using QuickBooks or any other similar software in accordance with PR Tax Associates, Inc. procedures:
• Manage assigned small business clients portfolios with following services-
• Bookkeeping
• Sales Tax
• Payroll Processing
• Income Tax preparation
• Payroll Tax
• Yearend processing (W2-3s, 1099)
• Keep the assigned email inbox clean and stay current with all requests
• Apply fundamental accounting principles and analytical skills to process a client’s accounting information completely and accurately. Activities.
• Understand and apply PR Tax Associates, Inc. Standards and Procedures, implement procedural improvements, and periodically review procedures to ensure Client accounts meet current standards.
• Understand the Client’s business, what the Client needs from the accounting, and how to provide the information they need.
• Attend brief monthly meetings with the Client to discuss financials.
• Manage offshore team members with their workload and priorities.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with assigned clients.

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in English language
• Candidate must know Hindi or Gujarati local language- No exception
• Bachelor’s Degree required, accounting or business-related degree preferred
• A minimum of two years of small business accounting or finance experience required
• Must reside within 15 miles of local PR Tax Associates, Inc. office
• Experience with general ledger accounting software required, QuickBooks preferred
• Ability to work independently with precision, a strong attention to detail and in accordance with PR Tax Associates, Inc. established standards and procedures required
• Separate, dedicated home office space, a computer to access on-line software and high-speed internet connection, reliable transportation and a mobile phone required
• Ability to attend orientation and monthly training and meetings at our office
• Ability to attend client meetings (weekly or monthly) and trainings during normal business hours (Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm) required
