Cashier Job Description

Peace Love and Pizza is growing and welcomes your interest to apply for the ride! Be the Face of PLP! You are our first contact with all the PLP Family that walks thru our doors or calls in. This position should be called, VIP. So greet each person with a warm smile, ask how their day is going and personalize the Love! It always an Awesome day at Peace Love and Pizza.

Responsibilities:

Be the Face of PLP – Greet every guest with a smile, ask about their day, and show them what PLP love feels like.
Own the Order – Take phone and in-store orders using our point-of-sale system quickly and accurately.
Keep it Clean – Wipe, sweep, mop, and help with dishes to keep the space sparkling.
Prep the Good Stuff – Portion salads and desserts, fold pizza boxes, and assemble order extras.
Spread the Peace – Hand out menus or coupons and tell the community about PLP.

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old (to use phones and systems).
A positive, welcoming attitude is a must—we’re all about the vibe.
Ability to move fast and stay on your feet.
Must be able to lift and stock items like 2-liter drinks and other supplies.
Comfortable using computers and phones for order entry.
Team player with a clean, presentable appearance.
