 We are looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, reliable under pressure, and committed to providing high-quality meals that meet both customer expectations and kitchen standards. You will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving all menu items to order, maintaining consistency and safety throughout every step.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and customer requests
• Ensure proper portion control, presentation, and taste of all food items
• Set up workstations with appropriate ingredients, tools, and serving ware
• Read food thermometers and use kitchen equipment safely and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas throughout the shift
• Monitor food supply and alert supervisor when items are low
• Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times
• Operate independently or as part of a team during peak and off-peak hours
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with coworkers and management
• Perform calmly under high-pressure conditions and during busy service times
• Assist with other tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  
  

 Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional kitchen experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
• Strong understanding of food preparation, handling, and sanitation standards
• Ability to read and follow recipes and prep instructions accurately
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Willingness to accept feedback and grow within the role
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering quality
• Ability to work in tight spaces with varying temperatures, smoke, and steam
• Food Handler Certification (preferred or required depending on local laws)
