• Support timely month-end close by preparing assigned journal entries.
• Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts to ensure integrity of the GL.
• Create and organize schedules with respect to financial results, projects and management requests.
• Maintain and update reporting for distribution to executive and corporate stakeholders.
• Assist in processing invoices for payment.
• Ability to identify and help implement process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of accounting theory, principles and practices.
• Must organize, prioritize and complete work independently to consistently meet deadlines.
• Ability to process data in a highly accurate, timely and efficient manner.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including v-lookup and pivot tables.
• Initiative to identify problems and ability to improve processes.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and compelling manner with all levels of personnel.
• Experience using accounting systems.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in accounting or finance; or equivalent hours of accounting coursework.
• Internship or professional accounting experience preferred
