Job Title: BBQ Chef – Pakistani/Indian Cuisine Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled BBQ Chef with expertise in Pakistani-style barbecue and traditional naan bread preparation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with authentic grilling techniques, spice blends, and tandoor oven operation. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering rich, smoky flavors and freshly baked naan that captures the essence of Pakistani/Indian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Pakistani BBQ items such as:
• Chicken Tikka
• Seekh Kebabs
• Malai Boti
• Beef/Chicken Bihari
• Lamb Chops
• Operate and maintain charcoal grills and/or tandoor ovens.
• Prepare dough and bake fresh naan, garlic naan, and other flatbreads.
• Marinate meats using traditional Pakistani spices and techniques.
• Ensure food is cooked to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
• Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the BBQ and tandoor stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a BBQ chef or tandoor chef, preferably in Pakistani or South Asian cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Pakistani spices, marinades, and cooking methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Physical stamina and ability to work near heat for extended periods.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary certification or training in South Asian cuisine.
• Experience working in a Pakistani or Indian restaurant or catering service.
• Ability to innovate and introduce new BBQ items or naan variations.
