We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Accounting Associate to join our accounting team at Princeton Mortgage. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for a range of complex accounting tasks. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; preparing and analyzing budgets; and performing general bookkeeping. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a recurring basis.
• Analyze and review financial statements and reports, ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with the finance team to complete financial audits and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Import data for monthly financial reports.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, processing, and recording transactions.
• Work in conjunction with Accounting and HR team.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.
• Outstanding knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
