Full Time Accountant Jobs in USA Formulations LLC North Brunswick, NJ

 This role is essential in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. You’ll be responsible for managing core accounting functions including payables and receivables, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and assisting with investment-related accounting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices with proper coding and approvals; execute payments via checks, wires, and electronic transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Handle accounts receivable, issue customer invoices, monitor overdue accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances
• Reconcile AR ledger and ensure accurate application of payments
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform account reconciliations
• Prepare key financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist in monthly close activities for AP and AR
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis
• Support the development of annual budgets and monthly financial forecasts
• Perform variance analysis and report on actual vs. budgeted results
• Compile and analyze financial data to support business decisions
• Track and record transactions related to the company’s investment portfolio
• Maintain accurate records of investment activity, gains/losses, and market valuations
• Prepare investment summaries and support evaluation of new opportunities
• Conduct research and reporting on financial instruments and portfolio performance
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and controls
• Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting and investment reporting standards
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Basic knowledge of investment accounting and financial markets
• Experience with QuickBooks required; experience with Syspro highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with month-end close required
• CPA license or active CPA candidate is a plus
