Full Time Accountant Jobs in ColdTrack Edison, NJ

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a critical role in overseeing the general ledger, managing the month-end close, performing complex reconciliations, and supporting internal controls and audits. You’ll also help guide junior staff and contribute to strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise internal accounting procedures, audits, and SOPs to ensure best practices and compliance with GAAP
• Maintain accuracy across the general ledger, including full ownership of trial balance accounts and reconciliations
• Lead and continuously improve the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Ensure strong internal controls are documented and followed; support audit readiness and compliance

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze financial data and create reports on financial status, trends, and forecasts
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for senior leadership
• Provide strategic insight on reserves, expenditures, and asset management based on data analysis
• Coordinate and lead more complex accounting projects across departments

Operational Support:

• Support cash and treasury management, including bank reconciliations and cash flow oversight
• Collaborate with finance leadership to improve systems and reporting processes
• Assist in budget planning and preparation, ensuring alignment with company goals
• Support internal and external tax audits and filings, in partnership with tax advisors
• Guide and consult team members on accounting procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance
