Monticello Academy is seeking a caring, passionate, and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team. Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support toddlers’ physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Observe and track developmental milestones and maintain documentation for each child
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child's development and behavior
• Collaborate with fellow educators in a team-teaching environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom setting
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Monticello Academy policies
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events
• Engage in professional development opportunities
• Support daily care routines including diapering, potty training, lifting up to 50 lbs, and other physical caregiving duties
• Promote the values and mission of Monticello Academy
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience working with toddlers in an early childhood education setting
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role (lifting, diapering, movement)
• Must meet state requirements for childcare staff, including background check and required immunizations
