Mindfulness, Kindness & Yoga for KidsnTeacher for Fall 2025-2026

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging yoga, mindfulness, and kindness-focused classes for children
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Follow and implement the provided curriculum and teaching materials
• Foster emotional well-being, body awareness, and social skills in students
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure student safety
• Communicate professionally with school staff and program coordinators
• Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance
• Travel to assigned school or community locations (mileage reimbursed)

Requirements:

• Experience teaching or working with children in a group setting
• Passion for yoga, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning
• Basic knowledge of yoga poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to teaching locations
• Willingness to be trained in the organization’s specific curriculum and approach
• Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude
• Availability during after-school hours or designated class times
