Mazal Home Care is looking for a caring and committed bilingual In-Home Caregiver to become part of our compassionate team. The perfect candidate will be dedicated to improving the lives of individuals who need assistance, including those living with dementia and other health conditions. This position involves helping clients with everyday tasks, ensuring their safety, and creating a comfortable home environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and encourage social interaction to support mental health.
• Observe and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes to family members or healthcare providers.
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Support clients with mobility by safely assisting with lifting or transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe living space.
• Administer first aid when needed and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Offer support in group home or assisted living settings when required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in patient care, particularly in home care or assisted living, is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care methods is highly valued.
• Familiarity with first aid and patient observation.
• Ability to perform safe heavy lifting.
• Basic cooking skills to prepare meals suited to client needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with families and healthcare teams.
• A compassionate and empathetic attitude.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
