At Visiting Angels Richardson, our Caregivers play a vital role in supporting seniors by assisting with a variety of tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility support, and transportation. Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with prescribed medication management
• Support mobility and ambulation within the home and outside (appointments, walks, etc.)
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
• Encourage and help with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals, involving clients as much as possible
• Run errands or accompany clients shopping
• Perform light housekeeping tasks that clients cannot complete
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Report any unusual observations or incidents promptly
• Respond effectively and responsibly in emergency situations

Caregiver Requirements:

• Genuine passion for caregiving and serving others
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pet friendly attitude
• Minimum of 2 years caregiving experience
• Strong knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Competent in housekeeping and meal preparation, mindful of dietary needs
• Commitment to health and safety standards
• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical approach
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role
• High school diploma or equivalent
