Wausau, an SCA Company, is currently searching for a District Sales Manager (Sales Executive) for our Southern California region. The District Sales Manager is responsible for implementing marketing initiatives and achieving Wausau Paper strategic growth objectives by selling and promoting the full range of Wausau Paper brand products within their respective district.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Managing district to success by achieving Wausau Paper sales plan objectives and positioning district for future growth;Sell the full range of Wausau Paper products within the district;Develop distribution in all facets to include: Quarterly and Annual Planning; Monthly Meetings; Sales Meetings and Seminars; and works within the end-user market;Collaborate with distribution personnel at all levels to include: management, sales, purchasing, customer service, accounts payable, warehouse, etc.;Prospect and add qualified new distribution to reach target market segments;Target and close end user deals either with distribution or independently creating “pull through”;Maintain sales call planning expectations and daily CRM reporting;Provides support to others within the sales region as needed;Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS Degree, preferably in Business Administration;3 - 5 years of sales experience illustrating track record success in the applicable market;Ability to cultivate new business and maintain/enhance current business;Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills;Full comprehension of MS Excel; MS Word; MS PowerPoint;Proficiency with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system;Aptitude for using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system;Willingness to travel;Willing to re locate, if necessary.
