Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team of professionals. We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness in creating a center of excellence in hospice care.
The Administrative Assistant provides a variety of general office support duties for key administrative/management staff, in addition to providing customer service to patients/families, providers, and staff. The work is performed under the direct supervision of an assigned supervisor but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
Qualification
A thorough knowledge of modern office procedures, office filing systems, practices and equipment.
Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines.
Ability to deal with a wide range of people and situations.
Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal.
Ability to understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures and instructions.
Ability to operate a personal computer using standard or customized software applications appropriate to assigned tasks.
Ability to use logical and creative thought processes to develop solutions according to written specifications and/or oral instructions.
Ability and willingness to quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and/or technology.
