Sales Manager – Food & Beverage Industry

A well-established and professionally managed organic food company, part of a large multinational group, is seeking a motivated Sales Manager with a strong background in wholesale food sales. Position Overview


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our growing team in Elk Grove Village, Chicago. As a key player in our sales department, you will be responsible for implementing strategies that drive revenue, strengthen distribution, and enhance our brand presence in the market. If you have a passion for sales and a proven track record in retail or wholesale food distribution, this could be the right fit for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities and trends.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Ability to plan, travel extensively and work independently.


Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of sales experience, ideally within the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Direct experience in wholesale distribution business is highly preferred.
  • Must hold a valid work visa to be considered.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets under pressure.
  • Familiarity with market research techniques and data analysis tools.
