Eustis Engineering is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Branch Manager/Project Manager to lead operations within a designated geographic region. This leadership role is responsible for managing branch office operations, developing client relationships, supervising technical teams, and ensuring successful project execution. The position reports to the Executive Vice President of Business Development and serves as a key liaison between branch offices and corporate departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business & Operational Leadership
• Support the ongoing development and execution of a strategic business plan for the branch office
• Oversee daily operations, staff performance, and financial results of the branch
• Ensure compliance with corporate safety, quality control, and operational policies
• Supervise engineering and construction activities per licensing board regulations (e.g., Texas Engineering Practice Act)

Project Management:

• Plan and lead engineering projects from inception to completion, defining scope, milestones, team requirements, and deliverables
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient delivery and client satisfaction
• Provide regular status updates and progress reports to internal stakeholders and clients
• Coordinate the preparation of technical deliverables, including design documents, specifications, and bid packages
• Review final work products for compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and client expectations
• Direct daily activities of technicians and engineering staff, assigning roles and responsibilities for various project phases
• Review technician timesheets and field/lab reports for accuracy and consistency
• Identify staffing needs and work with HR and executive leadership to support recruitment and personnel allocation
• Supervise lab testing operations such as concrete strength testing and particle size analysis
• Client Relations & Business Development
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication and effective problem-solving
• Attend project meetings and represent Eustis Engineering at industry and client events
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals across a range of project types (lab, CMT, engineering)
• Engage in networking and professional development through participation in industry organizations (e.g., ASCE, ACI, ACEC)
• Drive client development efforts to expand the firm’s market presence within the region

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred or ability to obtain one
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering project management and/or branch operations
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams and overseeing field/lab work
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel as needed to client sites, meetings, and industry events
