We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent at Country Inn and Suites to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in creating memorable experiences for our guests at our hotel! You must have experience in a choice brand hotel to be considered for this role. Your familiarity with Choice Hotels' standards and systems will be key to ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, offering assistance with reservations, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable at all times.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
