Accountant Jobs in Alacrity Solutions Pittsburgh, PA

The Accountant must be well versed in all phases of accounting practices and procedures including the ability to research and analyze financial information and reports. In addition, the Accountant must have excellent communication skills as this position is a liaison between the accounting function and other internal departments and functions. This position is a remote-based position.

Primary Duties include but are not limited to:

• Post daily financial transactions in accounting system from claims management system
• Daily cash management
• Bank reconciliations
• Post customer invoices and track collections
• Perform account reconciliations for Customer Accounts
• Proactively look for process and system improvements
• Review and analysis of expenses
• Assist with month end close to include creation of tie out spreadsheets
• Assist on other projects, as the need arises
  
  

Skills & Requirements:

• AS/BS or equivalent work experience preferred
• 4+ years’ experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics-Great Plains preferred
• Chart of accounts and general ledger knowledge
• Proficient in detailed account reconciliations
• MS Office Suite (Excel - Pivot tables, formulas, and formatting)
• Typing Speed 55+ words per minute
• 10-key
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and be a team player
• Deadline oriented
