We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist who can independently manage end-to-end payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ADP and/or QuickBooks, a strong understanding of payroll compliance across multiple U.S. states, and the ability to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently set up new employees in payroll systems (ADP, QuickBooks online version).

• Process and run regular payroll cycles accurately and on time.

• Prepare and distribute W-2s and 1099s.

• Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy.

• Manage payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and compliance requirements across multiple states.

• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding pay and deductions.

• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters.

• Generate payroll reports for management as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in payroll processing using ADP and/or QuickBooks online version.

• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance across multiple U.S. states.

• Familiarity with W-2 and 1099 preparation and reporting.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
