Experienced Branch Manager Jobs in Lansing Building Products Houston, TX

We are seeking a results-oriented Branch Manager to lead our [Insert Market] location. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of branch operations while also serving as the lead outside salesperson—managing relationships with contractors, remodelers, and trade professionals in your market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development (80% of role)
• Serve as the primary outside sales representative in your market
• Conduct 8–12 daily B2B sales calls with contractors and remodelers
• Cultivate relationships with existing customers and pursue new business opportunities
• Drive revenue growth and expand market share
• Actively represent the Lansing brand in the field and community

Branch Operations & Leadership:

• Oversee day-to-day operations through your Branch Operations Manager (second-in-command)
• Manage and develop a team of inside sales associates, warehouse staff, and drivers
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management
• Ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
• Address customer service needs and resolve issues as they arise
• Strategic & Financial Oversight
• Set and achieve sales and profitability goals (monthly and annually)
• Monitor branch performance and KPIs
• Participate in annual budgeting, goal setting, and strategic planning

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or a wholesale distribution environment
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
• Demonstrated success in goal setting and achievement
