We are seeking a Big Data Application Developer to design, build, and optimize large-scale data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with big data technologies, cloud platforms, and distributed systems to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.

?? Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy big data applications and pipelines.

• Work with large datasets to ensure efficient storage, processing, and retrieval.

• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and analysts to integrate data into applications.

• Optimize performance of data applications for scalability and low latency.

• Implement security, compliance, and governance best practices for data solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain big data applications in production.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies in big data and cloud ecosystems.

?? Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.

• Strong experience with big data frameworks: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive.

• Hands-on knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines.

• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Familiarity with cloud-based big data solutions (AWS EMR, Azure HDInsight, Google BigQuery, Databricks).

• Solid understanding of distributed systems and real-time streaming.

• Experience with machine learning pipelines in big data environments.

•   Knowledge of data security and governance practices.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data applications.

• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
