Chef Job Description

Juno, one of Lincoln Park's top-rated sushi destinations, is seeking a full-time experienced Sushi Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 1 year of sushi chef experience
Strong knowledge of sushi preparation including maki, nigiri, and sashimi
Ability to follow recipes and execute precise, aesthetically pleasing plates
Skilled in food preparation, plating, and maintaining food quality and safety standards
Familiarity with food allergy protocols and handling special dietary restrictions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Positive, professional attitude with a strong work ethic
Physically able to stand and work for 8–10 hour shifts
Afternoon/evening availability (starting at 1 PM)
Must have a valid Food Handler’s Certificate
$21.00 – $24.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications
