Chef Job Description

What You'll Do:

Oversee and direct all kitchen operations to ensure culinary excellence and consistency
Lead menu development with an emphasis on seasonality, creativity, and cost-efficiency
Manage BOH staff, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance reviews
Maintain labor and food cost controls to meet financial targets
Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
Collaborate with FOH management to ensure exceptional guest experiences
Foster a positive kitchen culture built on accountability, respect, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of high-volume kitchen experience, including 2+ years in an Executive Chef role
Prior experience managing unionized kitchen staff and knowledge of union protocols, labor scheduling, and grievance resolution
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Deep understanding of culinary trends, menu engineering, and kitchen operations
ServSafe (or equivalent) certification required
U.S. work authorization required
