Management Accountant Jobs in Staffing Network LLC Chicago, IL

This position is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity and reporting of the business. They oversee the accounting department and work with the company’s owner to maintain the company’s stellar financial position within our industry

Responsibilities:

• They have direct responsibilities for paying all bills, preparing quarterly financial documents, producing weekly payroll, administrating insurance plans, and other employee benefits
• Financial Management of privately held business including overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, maintaining the general ledge and producing financial documents according to GAAP principles
• Oversee and complete weekly payroll, including certified payrolls, payroll taxes, union contributions, as well as assist with human resource functions and benefits programs
• Minimize risk within the organization
• Work with departments to perform regular inventory audits
• Primary point of contact with external accounting agency for preparation of financial documents and tax filings
• Create internal and external controls for ensuring accuracy and compliance within the company’s operations
• Train company staff on proper business processes including ERP software and record keeping
• Promote Grand Stage as a preferred supplier
• Work with Marketing and Sales teams to maintain E-commerce store
• Work with other senior managers in long term planning for the company
• Assist with day-to-day operations of family-owned business and any other responsibilities as may be requested by the Board of Directors or President

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting or business
• Leadership experience in finance or management in contracting or entertainment fields
• Understanding of job costing and revenue recognition procedures
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and to see needs and offer solutions
• Team player with positive attitude
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM and POS software as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Creative problem-solving skills with financial skills aptitude
• Ability to multi-task, set agendas and handle several projects simultaneously
• 4 years
