Purpose For The Position:
This position will ensure materials are handled properly and accurately in support of a 24x7 manufacturing operation. This person will be responsible for performing the proper receiving of goods, kitting, internal movement, put away of material, perform cycle counts, packaging of products, and inventory control functions. This position interfaces with Procurement, Production Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Logistics. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.
Responsibilities:
- This position will ensure materials are handled properly and accurately in support of a 24x7 manufacturing operation
- This person will be responsible for performing the proper receiving of goods, kitting, internal movement, put away of material, perform cycle counts, packaging of products, and inventory control functions
- This position interfaces with Procurement, Production Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Logistics
- This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions
- Picks, processes, closes and stages or delivers orders to work centers
- Receives and puts away returned components within Warehouse Management System,
- Performs scheduled issues and picks of requested components/materials, additional parts, reservations, resupply materials, and consolidates and delivers work order materials
- Packages finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy
- Supports Inventory control in conducting weekly cycle counts, delegated inventory tasks, and assists in process improvements
- Utilizes Reach Truck, Fork Truck, and WAV mobile equipment safely and effectively to support daily company and department objectives
- Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization
- Participates in Entegris' continuous improvement processes and dedicated to customer
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years receiving or warehouse experience
- Ability to read, understand and properly execute work instructions
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP or equivalent
- Ability to lift 60 lbs., climb a ladder 15 ft. and walk / stand an entire shift
- Ability to safely operate standard warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack and a forklift
- Fremont, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required)
