Full Time Housekeeper Jobs in Simpson Place Assisted Living Dallas, TX

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you take pride in your work and have a heart for service—especially in a senior care setting—we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Dust and clean assigned areas including resident rooms, living spaces, fixtures, furniture, vents, lavatories, and basins
• Dust-mop, wet-mop, or spot-clean floors using properly diluted cleaning chemicals
• Strip, seal, wax, and/or buff floors as needed
• Vacuum, extract, and/or shampoo carpets as necessary
• Wash and dry windows using appropriate cleaning solutions
• Empty trash containers, replace liners, and dispose of waste appropriately
• Strip and properly dispose of soiled linens
• Replace linens and make residents’ beds according to schedule
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor or maintenance team
• Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Follow all community safety policies and procedures
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools
• Identify and report any safety hazards promptly

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in healthcare or hospitality settings
• Experience with floor-care equipment is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, staff, families, and visitors
• Dependable with regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team
