 We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in sushi preparation and presentation. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, with attention to detail and artistry.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
• Manage inventory of sushi ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Assist in menu development by providing input on new sushi offerings and seasonal specials.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in sushi preparation techniques and best practices.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
• Stay updated on current trends in the culinary world, particularly within the sushi segment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a restaurant or fine dining setting.
• Strong knowledge of various sushi techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.
• Familiarity with food preparation methods and kitchen equipment used in the culinary industry.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
