We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to manage the order entry process and deliver exceptional service in a logistics and freight environment. This role involves interacting with customers, processing orders accurately, coordinating with internal teams and logistics partners, and ensuring smooth and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders via phone, email, or other channels
• Enter and verify order details including product codes, pricing, and addresses
• Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely fulfillment
• Resolve customer inquiries or complaints professionally
• Track deliveries with logistics partners and update customers
• Maintain detailed records of transactions and communications
• Provide product and availability information when requested
• Support sales/account teams to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Update customer spreadsheets accurately and on time
• Suggest process improvements for better service and efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; education in logistics or supply chain is a plus
• 2+ years in logistics/freight/drayage customer service or order entry
• Familiarity with Port of NY/NJ systems and appointment systems
• Trinium software experience is highly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
