Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on both accounts receivable and accounts payable, and proficiency in QuickBooks. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of AR, including billing customers and applying payments.
Handle all AP functions, including processing and paying bills.
Maintain accurate records of vendor transactions and manage payment schedules.
Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements.
Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), providing regular updates on financial status and any issues requiring attention.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
