Full Time Accounting Assistant Jobs in Yen Press New York, NY

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our growing finance operations and contribute to the ongoing success of a dynamic, creative organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review production and freelancer invoices; prepare ACH payment requests
• Accurately enter invoices and expenses into accounting software and ERP systems
• Run and reconcile monthly travel & expense (T&E) reports
• Assist with monthly general ledger entries and financial reporting
• Prepare quarterly, semi-annual, and annual royalty reports
• Provide ad hoc financial reports and administrative support to accounting and management teams
• Support additional finance tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred but not required)
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
• Previous experience or internship in publishing or media (a plus)
