Customer Service Representative Job Description

Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling multiple types of customer experience inquires and resolving service concerns/ documenting customer requests.
Responsibilities:
> Resolve issues which do not require an agent's license and refer appropriate areas.
> Completes customer's transactional requests as provided by caller
> Employs probing questions and actively listens to customer issues, showing interest and compassion and displaying empathy for the caller's situation
> Demonstrates accuracy in processing changes to customer policies based on the information provided and identifies opportunities requiring a transfer to a licensed representative
> Verify coverage for customers and provide proof of evidence of insurance documents to customers
> Acknowledge and direct customer requests for additional products or services to appropriate licensed representative
> Ensure facilitation of first call resolution and customer satisfaction on all transactions handled
> Handle any requests regarding customer documentation and be able to clearly explain them including any follow-ups required on customer's part
> Prior contact center experience is a plus
> Excellent listening/ communication skills
> Basic PC aptitude including proficiency in keyboard skills
