Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated QA Automation Tester to join our team based in Texas City, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Tekarch technology, a leading company in the IT Software/Services industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and execute testing activities for various software applications and systems.
• Develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.

Salary

The compensation for this position ranges from $27 to $35 per hour, offering an excellent opportunity to earn a competitive salary while working with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• A valid work visa, US citizen, green card, EAD/TN, H4, F1, L2, STEM, OPT, CPT.
• Understanding of ASP.Net, Web Services, Java, and Python programming.
• Experience in manual and automated testing, including functional testing.

Skills

• Proven experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Proficient in Python, Java, and Selenium.
