Job Overview
We are currently on the hunt for a dedicated and meticulous Manual QA Tester to join our dynamic team at Tekarch Technology, located in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting manual tests to ensure the software created by our developers meets all requirements. This position is open for W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, 1099-Contract, and Internship. We welcome applications from candidates with a Valid Work Visa, US Citizens, Green Card holders, H4, F1, L2, OPT, and CPT.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
- Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
- Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
- Prepare detailed reports on the quality and usability of our software.
Salary
The salary for this role ranges from $28 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiarity with software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in Selenium - a suite of browser automation tools to automate web browsers across many platforms.
- Knowledge of Python - a high-level, interpreted, interactive and object-oriented scripting language.
- Experience in Manual Testing - the process of manually testing software for defects.
- Experience in Automated Testing - the process of using special software to control the execution of tests.
