.NET Developer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
Integrate applications with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and third-party services.
Maintain and enhance existing software systems by identifying areas for improvement.
Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Web API.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server / relational databases.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular/React is a plus.
Knowledge of Entity Framework, LINQ, and RESTful APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
