Job Title: Data Engineer Experience Level: 1-3 Years   Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing data systems. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data management, processing, and storage solutions that support business objectives.   Key Responsibilities Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Data Modeling: Build and optimize data models that support analytical and operational use cases. Data Quality and Governance: Implement data validation processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to define and achieve data requirements. Performance Optimization: Enhance data processing performance and storage efficiency by implementing best practices in big data technologies. Documentation and Testing: Create detailed documentation and test procedures for data management processes. Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL). Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica). Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of Python or Scala for data processing. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with data pipeline automation tools. Exposure to data governance and data cataloging tools. Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.
