Office Assistant Job Description
Meenaxi Enterprise is one of the leading companies in import and distribution of ethnic foods. We are located in Edison, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Updating records
- Assist in administration of the office and its general operations
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (email, letters, packages, etc.)
- Data entry
- Taking customer orders
- Bookkeeping
- Preparing packing slips and invoices for customer orders in Quick Books
- Serving as a liaison between office staff and warehouse team for orders and dispatch
- Complete final check on orders in the warehouse whenever required
- Keep track of inventory to maintain accuracy
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to implement administrative policies effectively
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual (English & Hindi)
- Willing to learn
