.NET Developer Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks and ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and hands-on experience with automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.
Write and execute automated test scripts using Python/Java/C#/JavaScript (as per stack).
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify, isolate, and resolve issues.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
Develop and maintain test data, mocks, and stubs for automation.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
Participate in code reviews, requirement analysis, and sprint planning to ensure testability.
Monitor test execution, log defects, and track them to closure.
Ensure automation coverage and continuous improvement of test processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–5 years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with automation tools & frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Pytest.
