Principal engineer, Dana Chapman formed Agricultural Engineering Services (AES) on June 1, 2005. His goal was to develop a full service agricultural engineering firm in the northeast. During this period, Mr. Chapman performed or supervised work on Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMP), farmstead design, site selection, structural designs, manure handling and storage systems, feed storage and handling systems, waste water systems and assisting clients to meet CAFO requirements. In addition, AES assists with projects to expand farm operations and/or modernize facilities. Mr. Chapman is an expert on the design and implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs). This expertise has been developed during his career with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS, formerly the Soil Conservation Service) and later with Agricultural Consulting Service.
