Accounting Assistant Jobs in Association of University Centers on Disabilities Silver Spring, MD

Position Requirements:

• You will be qualified for this position if you possess a high school diploma and a minimum of (3) years accounts payable and/or bookkeeping experience in a professional office environment.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
• Skill in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Skill in exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and analytical strengths
• Intermediate or expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (365, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and a basic understanding of collaboration tools such as Zoom, webinars, and surveys.
• Familiarity with accounting software required (Sage Intacct experience a plus)
  
  

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree
• Nonprofit experience
• Knowledge of nonprofit associations and/or membership organizations
• Knowledge of federal grants
  
  

Salary Range:

• The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000.
