Job Overview

Emerald Restaurant and Lounge is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Cook to join our team in San Ramon, CA. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant's standards. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a strong attention to detail and has a passion for cooking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the hospitality industry and a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
• Ensuring the kitchen area is clean and organized at all times.
• Managing inventory and ordering kitchen supplies as needed.
• Working closely with the Front Desk to ensure smooth operations.
• Performing operations analysis to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the United States (Valid Work Visa).
• Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
• Willingness to work on a Corp-Corp or 1099-Contract basis.

Skills

• Outstanding cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with customers.
• Proficiency in inventory control and operations analysis.
• Experience with Culina, our preferred kitchen management software.
