We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant, Office of Clergy Personnel. In this detail-oriented role, you will assist in the administration of the Clergy Personnel system as it pertains to the secular and religious priests and deacons in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
As no two days are the same, you will perform a wide range of supportive and administrative duties, including: updating & generating reports; billing; coordinating and creating materials for conferences and programs; working with various committees and boards; maintaining a database; inventory management; and preparing mailings.
To be considered best qualified, the successful candidate must possess:
Minimum of a high school diploma; some college preferred
Three to five (5) plus years of related administrative experience, including the ability to prepare correspondence on complex matters
Knowledge of the mission and operation of the Roman Catholic Church, the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and its clergy
Proficiency with Outlook, Windows Office Suite and Microsoft Software (including Excel, Access and Publisher); willingness to develop this knowledge with additional computer courses
Administrative skills including organization and analysis of information, event planning, and follow up activity
Ability to exercise sound discretion, independence, initiative, good judgment and maintain strict confidentiality
