Job Description:

• Develop and maintain accurate books, records, and accounts of the company in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Prepare accurate, timely, and informative financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) according to schedule for each line of business.

• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Assist the CFO and Controller in process improvement and change management focused on driving and tracking improvements for more efficient, compliant processes.

• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the finance team to track and manage weekly, monthly, and annual tasks and goals.

• Control access and changes to ERP/accounting systems to ensure systems are operating as intended and can be relied upon to produce accurate financial information.

• Prepare and generate company-wide key performance metrics (financial, operational) for each line of business with input from managers.

• Process and manage employee payrolls, including maintaining and updating underlying payroll information records and preparing relevant reports and analyses.

• Ensure the execution of daily/weekly bank transactions and cash management with respect to payroll processing

Essential qualifications:

• 8-10+ years hands-on accounting experience; prior experience as a lead accountant; service business experience a plus

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls

• Experience handling daily payroll and banking/treasury activities

• Performance-oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to function well in team-oriented, entrepreneurial environment

• Advanced skill set in Excel and accrual accounting policies

• Ability to adapt in fast pace environment
