1. Financial Planning & Analysis

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Analyze financial data and conduct business analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
• Prepare periodic MIS (Management Information System) reports for performance tracking.
• Collaborate with other departments to support strategic planning and decision-making.

2. Financial Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements in conjunction with the CPA.
• Oversee tax accounting processes to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage property, liability, and operational insurance policies.

3. Expense & Cost Management

• Lead cost management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage and monitor expense processes to optimize costs and improve profitability.
• Oversee the operations team’s efforts to gain better terms with suppliers to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with store managers and operations teams to optimize cost control, inventory management, sales v/s purchases, and develop pricing strategies.

4. Cash Flow Management

• Oversee cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations, supplier payments, payroll, and fuel purchases.
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and credit institutions to secure working capital, loans, and favorable terms.

5. Financial Operations & Systems

• Supervise the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee financial management software such as QuickBooks and ModiSoft.
