 We are seeking a compassionate, strategic, and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to lead and strengthen our HR functions. This role will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, benefits administration, and staff development. The ideal candidate is values-aligned, people-centered, and experienced in the unique dynamics of non-profit work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
• Manage and update HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational values.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
• Administer employee benefits, payroll coordination, and leave policies.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and HR systems.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.
• Advise leadership on HR strategy, staffing, and organizational development.
• Ensure all programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to confidentiality.
• Fulfill other assigned responsibilities.
• This position is not limited only to the responsibilities listed above.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification a plus).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and DEI principles.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (Paychex).

Compensation

Salary range: $41,000–$45,000, commensurate with experience.
