Experienced Bookkeeper Jobs in IncorpTaxAct(ITA) Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Peachtree (Sage 50), a solid understanding of GAAP, and experience handling full-cycle bookkeeping tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for various clients
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and collections
• Process payroll and prepare related tax filings, including W-2s and 1099s
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Prepare and enter journal entries and general ledger transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax regulations
• Communicate with clients regarding financial status and any outstanding items

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
• 3–5 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Peachtree (Sage 50)
• Familiarity with payroll systems and tax reporting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Experience working independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Experience with multiple client accounts
• Prior work in an accounting or CPA firm environment
