Acme International, based in Peachtree Corners, GA, is a leading importer and distributor of premium ethnic food products across the southeastern United States.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with 2–5 years of experience in sales and account management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proven experience in business development, and the ability to manage relationships with clients across diverse markets. This role requires travel to meet customers, attend trade shows, and grow Acme International’s presence in the retail and wholesale distribution space.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the ethnic food and grocery sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and retail partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records using ERP sales systems and prepare regular performance reports.
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
- Travel as required to build and expand business relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Sales Systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports to support business decisions.
- Experience selling to big-box retail chains is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently as part of the role.
