About the Role

We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP programming, debugging, performance tuning, and custom developments across multiple SAP modules. This role requires close collaboration with functional teams, business users, and technical architects to deliver robust and scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, and interfaces.

• Work on ABAP Objects, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, ALE/IDOCs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and Workflows.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Perform performance tuning, code optimization, and debugging of complex ABAP programs.

• Develop and maintain interfaces with third-party systems using ALE/IDOC, RFC, BAPI, and OData services.

• Contribute to S/4HANA migration projects, including CDS views, AMDP, and Fiori/UI5 integration.

• Ensure adherence to SAP coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

• Provide post-implementation support and end-user training when required.

• Mentor junior developers and guide the offshore/onshore ABAP development team.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

• Strong expertise in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).

• Proven experience in Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP on HANA.

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, OData, Fiori integration).

• Strong knowledge of SAP performance tuning and debugging techniques.

• Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP ABAP certification.

• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.

• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform / SAP BTP.

• Prior experience in Agile delivery environments.
